In simplest form: Joint Sealing is the term most commonly used by the professionals.  It is also known as caulking, gap sealing, gapping & silicone work. Joints in construction are necessary to accommodate movement in buildings, whether it be a control joint in a new home or a floor joint in a factory block.

Joint sealing is done is many areas such as: pre cast panel joints, fire rated joints, internal wet area silicone joints (kitchen & bathroom), concrete floor joints & the list goes on.
